Illegal Immigrants, Biden Plans to Send 1,500 Troops to Mexico Border

The US President, Joe Biden , foresees sending 1,500 soldiers to the border with Mexico, in view of the expiration of the so-called Title 42 , a provision in force since the period of the Covid-19 pandemic which allowed refusals at the border for health reasons (K the head of the White House had already announced a crackdown on illegal immigration ).

This is how "Fox News" reports, citing government sources, according to which there is growing concern in Washington that tens of thousands of immigrants may head to the southern border of the United States, starting next week.

The soldiers will be drawn from various army units and tasked with assisting the border police in administrative and logistical tasks.

They will be armed, but only for self-defense.

The operation is similar to one ordered in the past by former President Donald Trump to manage the flow of migrants at the border.
