Elon Musk has done a poll on twitter in which he has asked all his followers whether he should continue to be the owner of twitter or not.

According to the survey, the largest percentage of votes of followers leaned towards the answer "yes", a sign that shows that Elon Musk, the head of twitter, tesla and space x, apparently no longer likes him.

Musk has written that he will stick to the poll results, so based on the poll it means that Musk's time on Twitter is over.

Musk, who also runs Tesla and Space X, has faced a lot of criticism since taking over Twitter. After a legal battle, Musk took control of the company in October in a $44 billion deal.

The survey was opened 10 hours ago. With an hour left to vote, 16 million people have voted and currently the result appears to be inconclusive as 58% voted 'yes', Musk should step down from running Twitter and 42% think he should stay . That vote could lead to the end of Musk's reign as Twitter's chief executive.

After the survey began, Musk tweeted: "As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, as you may get it."
