The police intervene in Jarinje

The crushing part of the Serbs in Jarinje, in the territory of Serbia, have already dispersed, while dozens of young people remained trying to convince the police to allow them to cross the border and enter the territory of Kosovo.

The protesters dispersed after clashes began between them.

The clash started between those who wanted to respect the order of the Serbian police to turn back and others who insisted to clone the police cordon by force.

"People, where are you going, turn back, they will rain on you", a woman participating in this rally was heard shouting.

The increased number of police forces of the special unit of Serbia have arrived to help their colleagues. Some Serbian protesters have clashed with Serbian police forces near the border crossing point between Kosovo and Serbia, Jarinje, on the side of Serbian territory, as they protested as a sign of support for the local Serbs who have erected barricades in the north of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, American KFOR soldiers have also been seen in the border area of Kosovo.
