Prishtina was shaken on Tuesday evening by a serious event. It is learned that on "Ismet Krasniqi" street in the neighborhood known as "Kodra e trimave", a woman shot her brother-in-law to death with a firearm.

The murder was confirmed by the spokesperson of the police in Pristina, Flora Ahmeti, who explained to the media that the suspect with the initials NM surrendered herself to the police station.

"Today around 19:20 we received the information about a murder that happened on the street "Ismet Krasniqi" in Pristina.

"The police immediately went to the scene and took all the necessary actions, which consist of investigating the circumstances that characterize the event," she said.

Currently, the investigators under the coordination of the prosecutor's office are working to shed light on the causes that led to the serious event, while the dead body is expected to be withdrawn from the expertise to be sent for autopsy.
