A serious event has taken place in Pristina where an 11-year-old has been sexually abused for several hours. The event is reported to have taken place on August 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 00:30.

On 29 August, Kosovo police announce that a minor has reported that 5 people have sexually abused more than a few hours.

The minor has been sent to shelters, while it is reported that so far two persons have been arrested as suspected perpetrators.

According to media in Kosovo, the prosecution file claims that this event occurred after three people had stopped the 11-year-old who was walking in the park, where she was sexually raped.

The minor, having been raped by the first two suspects, was also detained by another person, who had taken her to a car and with three other persons, sent her to another place, where she had again been raped.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani reacted to the event.

"Shocking lyrical act of sexual rape of 11-year-old minors. I demand a rigorous investigation and responsibility before the law for the head of the work. With the utmost severity and determination we must repeat unanimously that no one is above the law. The law must be harsh on each such perpetrator, especially in cases like this when rape is children," Osman wrote on Facebook.
