Serious in Greece/ The woman set her husband on fire and then raises her alibi:

A serious incident was prevented during the night of Maundy Thursday. A 50-year-old woman doused her 57-year-old husband with turpentine and set him on fire to burn him alive.

The terrible scene happened at 21:30 yesterday evening. According to the police, after a fierce fight with her husband, the woman attacked him with the flammable liquid and went to burn him alive.

The man in a miserable condition raised the alarm, while the neighbors notified the police and the 50-year-old woman was arrested.

Meanwhile, the woman denied the incident, justifying herself that her husband had tried to set himself on fire, a reasoning that was not believed. The victim is being treated for burns at the "Georgios Gennimatas" hospital.
