Compared to Hitler, Netanyahu responds to Erdogan: He who is committing genocide
Benjamin Netanyahu / Recep Tayyip Erdogan

The Prime Minister of Israel has responded harshly to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after the latter compared him to the infamous Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

"How do you (Netanyahu) differ from Hitler? These (actions) will surpass even Hitler. Is there anything Netanyahu does that is less than Hitler? No," Erdogan said, speaking at an awards ceremony in the fields of science in the capital Ankara.

But Netanyahu responded by saying that Erdogan is the last person who can preach morality, since he is the one who is committing genocide against the Kurds.

"Erdogan, who is committing genocide against the Kurds (...) is the last person who can preach morality to us," Netanyahu declared.
