Ukraine sanctions three Chinese companies over suspicions they are helping

Ukraine has imposed sanctions on three Chinese companies after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused China of supplying weapons to Russia.

Meanwhile, China's Foreign Ministry earlier on Friday denied President Zelensky's accusations as groundless.

The Zelensky administration on Friday released an updated list of sanctioned entities. The list, which also includes Russian companies, also included three new companies that are registered in China.

There are no details on why they were added to the sanctions list, which bars companies from doing business in Ukraine and freezes all their assets there.
