Russian drone injured two people, Albania expresses solidarity with Romania:

Albania has condemned the Russian drone attack in Galați, Romania, which hit a residential building and injured civilians, including a minor. 

The MEPJ expressed full solidarity with the people and authorities of Romania and wished a speedy and full recovery to the injured.

"This incident represents a serious and irresponsible escalation by the Russian Federation and further underscores the absurdity and human cost of Russia's war against Ukraine, the consequences of which continue to threaten the security and protection of civilians beyond Ukraine's borders," the statement said.

"Albania will continue to stand in full solidarity with our allies and partners, in support of coordinated efforts to end this war in defense of peace, security and the fundamental principles of international law," the statement continues.

We recall that both Albania and Romania are NATO member countries.
