US President Donald Trump has made some radical changes in the White House.
Many of those who attended his meeting yesterday with Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky noticed this drastic change.
He has chosen to decorate the waiting room with gold-colored decorations. The White House has earlier announced that Trump and private donors will fund a cost of about $200 million for a new ballroom.
Since returning to office, Trump has tripled the number of paintings hanging on office walls. The shelves and surfaces are decorated with flags, statues.
And in keeping with the style he's followed for decades, there's gold everywhere: new yellow gold figurines on the cloak and medallions in the fireplace, golden eagles on the side tables, gilded rococo mirrors on the doors, and, placed on the pediments above the doors, small gold cherubs shipped from Mar-a-Lago. Even the remote control for the TV down the hallway is wrapped in gold, CNN reported earlier.
