A little while ago, the Greek police opened the trunk of the BMW of Vangjelis Zabunis, who was executed in Athens during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Top Channel's exclusive sources from the investigative team said that a Kalashnikov assault rifle with dozens of rounds was found in the victim's vehicle.
A Glock pistol was also found in the victim's body, but the sudden blow meant that Zabunis had no chance to use the weapons to defend himself.
Despite the fact that the victim was driving an armored BMW, this was not an obstacle for the executioners, who used Kalashnikov blind-piercing bullets that penetrated the armored glass and left the Greek capoband dead on the spot.
97 cases have been found at the scene so far. It is suspected that the executioners used 3 different weapons. At least 2 Kalashnikovs (2 were found in the burned car of the perpetrators) and a 9mm pistol. But it is suspected that the weapons could be even more and the perpetrators had support from a vehicle and a motorcycle. Film footage from the area where the victim was found murdered, as well as the businesses where the perpetrators passed, are being examined.
