The formation of the new government fails, Albin Kurti does not receive the necessary votes

The Kosovo Assembly failed to vote on the Kurti 3 government in the session held on Sunday within the legal deadline set by the Constitutional Court.

With 56 votes in favor, 52 against and 4 absentees, the Assembly did not elect the new Government of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Speaker of the Parliament, Dimal Basha, said that now the responsibility passes back to President Vjosa Osmani and closed the proceedings of today's session.
