Prime Minister-designate Albin Kurti stated that they have not reached a coalition to form a government.
From the Parliament podium, where the extraordinary session for the formation of the government is being held, Kurti presented the new government and asked MPs to vote for it, considering the state interest and not the party interest.
In front of the MPs, Kurti said that voting for the new government today is an act of service to the country and not simply a political formality.
Kurti said that if the offer for co-government was accepted, a new coalition government would be proposed to the Assembly today. According to him, the vote of the citizens in the February 9 elections had determined that there should be a governing coalition, but the parliamentary parties were not ready for such a thing.
