The media in Italy have published a love story between two young men in the country's mafia clans. It is about a case in Palermo where the son of a murdered mafia boss fell in love with the killer's niece.
"They should be separated" was the verdict of the girl's family that was trying to cover up the serious event.
Nine years earlier, the girl's uncle had killed the father of her lover, Giuseppe Di Giacomo. The truth came to light thanks to the police intercepts that arrested the murderer.
When he was still small, nine years ago he became a witness to the crime. A masked man shot his father, killing him. His sentimental choices, as he grew up, led to the arrest of the murderer.
The love story between the two young people was the key that allowed the carabinieri to solve the mystery.

Salvatore Lipari, the killer's brother, tries to explain to his wife why his niece's relationship with Di Giacomo's son was bothering him. The woman does not understand and at some point he loses his patience.
In dialect he says "Don't you understand that Tony killed him?" The killer's family's fear was that the son was acting "in revenge" knowing the truth about his father's crime.
After the investigation was closed, the girl's uncle who had acted on behalf of the mafia boss Tommaso Lo Presti, who had seen Di Giacomo as a threat, was also arrested. The two were competing for the leadership and business of the Palermo district of Porta Nuova.
