Today at nine o'clock in the morning, local time, the body of Pope Francis will be in St. Peter's Basilica.

Today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, believers will be able to honor the body of the late pope until midnight, while on Friday, Catholic believers will be allowed to be present in church until 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, immediately after the funeral, the body of the Argentine pope will be buried in the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, near Rome's central train station, in accordance with the wishes expressed by the "pope of the poor" himself in his will.

It should be noted that many believers who were in St. Peter's Square, speaking to journalists, expressed the desire for the process of canonization of Francis to begin as soon as possible, as had happened, namely after the death of John Paul II, exactly twenty years ago.
