It is about Margo Magan, who according to one of her 12 children was the first cousin of the writer Samuel Beckett.

Margo died on December 30 at Mullingar Hospital, County Westmeath, in Ireland. She was ninety-four years old.

Mike Magan took the photo on the way from the church to the cemetery. The dog followed the hearse to the end. As if he were human, he appears fully aware of mourning and sorrowful.
