The Russian defense company "Kalashnikov" announced that in 2022 it has achieved the highest production of weapons in the last 20 years.

The statement states that last year the company increased the production of weapons by 40 percent compared to 2021.

It is said that "Kalashnikovi" fulfilled 45 production orders for the state last year, as well as 25 orders in the field of military-technical cooperation.

In the announcement, it was emphasized that these are the largest orders that have been realized in the history of the company, and it is said that the production of weapons has reached the highest level in the last 20 years.

The Kalashnikov (Kallash), also known as the AK-47, is an automatic rifle used by most Eastern Bloc armies after World War II.

That rifle was designed in 1947 by Mikhail Kalashnikov as the world's first true automatic rifle.

Unlike most automatic rifles of the Second World War, the AK-47 was a compact and lightweight rifle that had a good range, a strong weapon with the ability to control fire (automatic, semi-automatic and single) .

Kalashnikov is still used today, so it is at the top of the world in terms of the number of parts produced.
