The crashed plane

An air tragedy was avoided yesterday evening at the Belgrade airport, as an Embraer 190/95 plane collided during takeoff with a vehicle that was on the runway, suffering great damage.

Serbian media reports that the plane was able to take off and then make an emergency landing at the airport. Immediately after landing, fire engines went to the plane with more than 100 passengers on board, which was headed for Dusseldorf.

Fortunately, no one was injured, while the plane suffered major damage.

Air Serbia has recently received this type of aircraft that enables longer routes and with more passengers than other aircraft in use, such as the ATR-72. We remind you that the same plane has also flown in the direction of Tirana several times.
