Bus falls into abyss, at least 25 dead in Peru

At least 25 people are reported to have died after the bus they were traveling in fell off a cliff in the Piura region, north of Lima, Peru.

Several passengers were also injured and taken to area hospitals. During the accident, some passengers jumped out of the windows and others were trapped inside the bus.

The bus of the company "Q'orianka Tours" had left from Lima and was going to Tumbes on the border with Ecuador. In an uninhabited area near the town of Organo, he went off the road with almost 260 kilometers left to cross and reach his destination.
