'The Doll', the 23-year-old serial killer who terrorized Colombia,

Colombian police have arrested 23-year-old Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodríguez, known to local authorities as "La Muñeca" or "The Doll" in Albanian, who is accused of a series of murders allegedly committed on behalf of the criminal organization Los. de la M.

Among the victims of the Colombian "killer", according to local media, is her former partner, Davy Jesus, who was killed last July in an ambush in the Piedequesta area.

Ojeda Rodriguez, considered by some to be the most dangerous killer in the Santander region, was arrested along with two of her suspected accomplices in a major police operation. Weapons were found on them, which were sent for ballistics analysis.

According to information from authorities, the 23-year-old had begun to expand her criminal activity, taking a leading role in a network of hired killers who spread terror in the area.

The murder of her former partner, Davy Jesus, shows how ruthless the 23-year-old was.

Jesus reportedly received a call from Ojeda Rodriguez, who asked him to meet to resolve a financial dispute. During the confrontation, two men on a motorbike shot him dead, a hit that was allegedly ordered by “The Doll” himself.

Ojeda Rodríguez's arrest brings to the forefront the problem of increasing violence in Santander, with its capital, Bucaramanga, recording an average of one murder every three days.

According to Bucaramanga police, 30 murders were recorded in the first quarter of 2024 alone. These crimes are mainly committed in the context of "settlement" by gangs.
