The President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ranko Debevec, and the former director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) of BiH, Osman Mehmedagiç, were put in handcuffs by the police at noon this Monday. Referring to the local media, Debevec and Mehmedagiç are accused of "abuse of duty".

"Officers of the State Information and Protection Agency arrested Mr. Ranko Debevec and the former head of the Intelligence Agency, Osman Mehmedagic by order of the prosecutor. The mentioned persons are suspected of the criminal offense of abuse of office, related to other criminal offenses provided for in the criminal code of Bosnia and Herzegovina", it was said in a statement of the state prosecutor's office.

Debevec, who has been at the head of the Court since 2017, was arrested in a restaurant in the Sarajevo area. No details are known about their arrest, while the former director of the Intelligence and Security Agency, Osman Mehmedagiç, is on the US blacklist, as a "Non Grata" person, after he used the telephone companies to collect information that they carry on their mobile phones. politicians who were not affiliated with the Democratic Action Party (SDA).
