A bomb alarm on board forced a plane flying from Poland to England to make an emergency landing .

The plane with 200 passengers of the WizzAir company made an emergency landing in the western German city of Paderborn, around 22:00 local time. Afterwards, the aircraft was checked by specialized teams and it turned out that there were no suspicious objects such as explosives.

Control operations of the aircraft took place throughout the night and also this morning.

Police said the 199 passengers and seven crew members of the Airbus A321 plane were put up in hotels overnight before continuing their journey on Monday.

Early in the morning the airport reopened and work continues normally.
