Istanbul

Istanbul has no peace. Citizens were alerted again this evening after several gunshots were reported at the "Şişhane" metro station. Sources from the local media inform that the police forces have shot dead a person. But his identity is not known yet.
Eyewitnesses claim to have heard at least 60 gunshots.
This is the second event that has shocked many citizens in Istanbul, after a powerful explosion was reported this afternoon, where at least 6 people were killed and 53 others were injured. The event took place on a commercial street in the area of Taksim Square, but it is not yet known what caused the explosion, although a terrorist act is initially suspected. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the act "reeks of terrorism" and that the perpetrators will be punished.
