WHO alert: 10,000 victims of the coronavirus in December

At least 10 thousand people have lost their lives as a result of the coronavirus in 50 different countries, only during the month of December.

These are the alarming figures from the World Health Organization, which, among other things, informs that during this period the cases of hospitalizations and patients with serious complications have increased significantly.

"Although Covid is no longer a global health emergency, the virus continues to circulate, mutate and kill. Data from various sources show an increase in transmission in December," said the head of the WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

Many countries have seen an increase in Covid cases and for this reason, in some health institutions, or in others where there is a large concentration of people, they have returned to the use of masks.
