More than 53 citizens were injured today by the protest held in the north of Kosovo.

The director of the Northern Mitrovica Hospital, Zlatan Elek, announces that three of the injured are being kept in the hospital, while one is in danger of life from the injuries received.

The wounded are Serbs, a Serbian journalist and KFOR soldiers, who are already hospitalized in the Medical Center in Zveçan.

The Foreign Minister of Italy, Antonio Tajani, said that today 11 soldiers of the Italian KFOR were injured, 3 of them with serious injuries, but without danger to their lives.

At first, KFOR warned the protesters to leave, but then the situation worsened where the protesters clashed with KFOR soldiers.
