DP Chairman Sali Berisha is in Korça, where he is delivering the Democratic Party Renewal Speech.

In his speech, the Democrat leader emphasized that Rama is today the most hated man in the nation's history. Berisha emphasized that Rama has emptied Albania, because the youth and citizens no longer have hope.

"Dear citizens of Korça, present in this hall, in the city, in the villages, in this region and wherever you are today, my most heartfelt greetings, my greatest respect for you, your freedom-loving spirit, your hardworking spirit, your virtues.

Dear friends, today I come here for the seventh meeting after October 15, 2021. Then I came to a podium, in which we swore to save the opposition. Love for Korça, love for Albania invited us to stand so that Albania and Korça could have a true opposition.

In these years we went through, let's say, a kind of ordeal, but we were not defeated. Not because we are supernatural, no, but because the causes we defended were just causes, they were inspiring causes.

Therefore, today we no longer gather for our own issues, but we gather here today at this Pulpit of Renewal for the issues of the citizens of Korça and all of Albania.

The DP and the opposition overcame their own struggles, but they were not an end in themselves. They had a goal, a true opposition, which would become the locomotive of the strength of the opposition forces and the salvation of Albania from this regime.

Therefore, this Pulpit of Renewal is an appeal, it is a call for every citizen, for all of Korça to stand up.

For every Pogradec citizen and Pogradec standing. For Kolonja and the people of Kolonja standing. For Devolli and the people of Devolli standing.

Today, all of us are standing towards our victory, towards saving Albania from this anti-Albanian regime.

From this regime, which has damaged our being as Albanians to its core more than any other occupation in centuries and centuries.

This regime has diminished our being in the most dramatic way.

Today in Korça, today in Albania, as many children are born as were born 100 years ago when Albania had a total of 1 million inhabitants in its territory.

Today, out of 1,000 Albanians residing in Albania, 466 are registered in the EU. If we add here those living in other countries outside the EU, I guarantee that over 60 percent of the nation is no longer in Albania.

No nation, in any war, in any epidemic, in any disaster, has had in 10 years a decline like the one we have today. Today, Edi Rama has become the most hated man in the nation in history.

"8 thousand kilometers from Tirana and Albanians are throwing eggs and tomatoes at him. Well done ," said Berisha.

Further, the DP leader underlined that Prime Minister Rama is wasting Albanian taxes, as he booked a hotel for 15 thousand euros per night in the USA.

He emphasized that the prices in the store in Strasbourg were equal to or twice as low as here.

"I was in Strasbourg, they were at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, I went into a market out of curiosity, absolutely all the prices were either the same or half as low as here.

Yes, French salaries are at least five times higher than ours.

What does this mean? This means that we have come to a very difficult time, a time in which we are not like in 1990, when our stores were empty, but we had salaries in our pockets as much as they were.

Today our pockets are empty, our stores are full, but we can't buy. This is poverty, which has only one cause: the rampant theft of taxes and public assets of Korça and all of Albania.

Edi Rama books the hotel for 15 thousand euros per night.

"Do you know that his mansions, which have foundations twice as large as Enver's villa, were built when he had a total of 3,800 declared euros and 400,000 lek? But the company that built the mansions received dozens of tenders from the government," Berisha said.
