In a statement for the Grida Duma podcast, the former head of the Red and Black Alliance, Kreshnik Spahiu, made an unusual and harsh statement against Albanian men. 

When asked about power and the change it brings, Spahiu commented on the idea by commenting on Albanian men.

"Albanian men are mostly ignorant and mediocre. The streets of Albania are full of scumbags. They dress like Arabs, they are lazy. They don't know how to shave, their faces hang down all the time," he says.

Spahiu further ironically summarizes the lifestyle that he attributes to some Albanian men: " The life of an Albanian man revolves from the car wash to the garage. How do you become a millionaire, lift the can and scratch your belly? ", he asks, using this example to talk about the contrast between wealth, style and culture of behavior.
