Monika Kryemadhi turns out to be the owner of a company registered in fiscal havens and the owner of three accounts in international banks, which she has not declared in Albania.
According to EuReporter's investigation, in at least one transaction, Monika Kryemadhi has drawn dividends, i.e. profits as a shareholder in the Holdem Holdings company, registered in a tax haven where Russian oligarchs are also owners.
According to the bank payments mandate, money transfers were made throughout 2017 and in the following year's declaration, the law forces Kryemadhi to declare any bank accounts or private interests he has in private companies. However, in the statement provided by Top Neës, Kryemadhi did not declare either the company in which she is a shareholder or the accounts in foreign banks.
According to the documents, Kryemadhi has at least three undeclared bank accounts, one in Portugal at the Espirito Santo bank and two accounts in Switzerland, one at the UBS bank and the other at the Credit Agricole bank.
In the mandate, bank payments made public result in three transactions in the values of 5350 euros, 13500 euros and 9687 euros. This money is periodically distributed to Kryemadhi's account because as a shareholder, she receives a certain percentage of the company's profit every month.
In the 2018 wealth declaration, Monika Kryemadhi did not declare the money she received every month in her bank account as dividends from the offshore company Holdem Holdings, controlled by Russian oil oligarchs Alexander Smizukov and Alexander Kaplan.
The tycoon also made a payment to an offshore company, Vradus Holdings, which was controlled by Vitaly Savvin, a Russian oil oligarch who was one of Vladimir Putin's biggest donors, according to a Forbes investigation.
