A 10-year-old girl of Albanian origin was injured during a gun attack on her father's bar in the Agios Panteleimonas neighborhood of Athens.

The minor was inside the cafe when people driving a car opened fire towards the facade.

The minor is the daughter of the bar's owner, Denis Luli , 30 years old.

According to preliminary data reported by Greek media, there were four people in the vehicle, who shot without getting out of it and then fled.

There were also about ten customers in the bar.

Initial investigations suspect that the order for the assassination was given from prison, by Klodian Lekocaj, a name well known to the Greek police.

It is still unknown who the target was and what the reasons for the conflict were.

But who is Klodian Lekocaj?

Klod Cara, alias Klodian Lekocaj, 49, a controversial figure, has returned to the spotlight in recent years due to being labeled by the Greek media as the leader of the so-called "Prison Mafia". How much he really is like that is unknown, as he himself, in his public appearances in the media, considers himself "poor", "innocent" and "used".

Meanwhile, the facts, evidence and wiretaps available to the Greek police, according to reports, lead to the suspicion that Lekocaj has had and still has an important role in the underworld of Albanian and Greek criminal groups.

Lekocaj, in several wiretaps and testimonies, has been mentioned for connections with criminal groups, putting at their or his disposal suspected hitmen. Such was the case of September 14, 2022, when the Greek police randomly arrested two Albanians Viktor Çala, 39 years old, and Andi Beqiri, 23 years old. They were caught in Athens, after two Kalashnikovs and a knife were found hidden in their vehicle, while a pistol was found in the apartment.

The police investigation revealed that Çala was the perpetrator of the murder of a Greek and the attempted murder of an Albanian, both events that occurred in July 2022.

For the murder of the Greek, he stated that it was ordered by Klodian Lekocaj, due to the disruption of drug deals. Thus, "Klod", who is also known in the Greek cartels as "Luli" or "Ilia", was then charged with another charge, after previous charges for ordering the murders of Greek lawyer Mixalis Zafiropoulos, prisoner Arbër Bako and prisoner Bardhyl Tusha, involvement in the attempted murder of a Pakistani, extortion of former Greek minister Dimitri Tsovola, assistance in the escape of prisoners Leonard and Elvis Pepa, etc.

Lekocaj, in fact, in addition to orders, has precedents as a direct perpetrator. He was initially arrested in 1997 for theft. In 2003, he escaped from Volos prison, while in 2005, in Agios Panteleimonas, he shot and wounded an Albanian in the stomach. Then, in the same place, in 2006, together with two Albanians, he stabbed a fellow countryman.
