Pensions, the German example in Albania too? Member of the Bundestag Bsirske:

Let's not turn a blind eye, but act to promote workers' rights. During the "Role of trade unions in the political field" conference, which was attended by heads of trade unions in the country, including Frank Bsirske, who is a trade unionist in Germany and at the same time a member of the Bundestag, the role of trade unions in Albania was discussed.

"Unions are union cooperatives that are based on mutual support. To have support in case of unemployment, support in the third month and to have financial support when there are strikes."

Mr. Bsirske also stopped to talk about pensions, where unions must act in the right of pensioners, showing a panorama of the pension reform in Germany.

"We should not close our eyes in case the retirement age increases. In Germany, we are carrying out a reform, so we want to lower the pension age in such a way that a person, who has 40 years of contributions and has had 70% of the average income, which is about 2 thousand euros per month, this individual to receive a pension of 1050 euros, being exempt from taxes."

A few days ago, the Union of Independent Trade Unions in their congress demanded an increase in pensions and approval of the miner's status.
