The Ministry of Finance has ready the names of the heirs of the former persecuted who benefit from the 4th installment of compensation. The official website of this institution has also published a list of the names of the beneficiaries who have 3 months to complete the file with the necessary documentation.

In addition to the proof of inheritance for the political convict, the original or a notarized unified copy, the account number, copy of the identity card and written authorization issued by the beneficiary to obtain the necessary electronic documents, death certificate and ex- convicts and family tree certificate. The trunk certificate, it is worth noting, cannot be replaced with a family certificate. "Persons who deposit the bank account number must make sure that the bank account, where the next installment will be deposited, is still active", the Ministry clarified earlier.

Meanwhile, in cases where "a first-order heir of the former political convict is not alive, in order to withdraw the compensation, the second-order heirs, that is, his children, must send to the Ministry of Finance and Economy all the documents for the heir of the first rank who is not living. So, what is worth noting is that when a second heir is no longer alive, their right to compensation does not continue. In this case, the distribution of the value of the next installment is carried out according to the circle of family members for the living heirs. In order to acquire this right, the circle of relatives must send to the Ministry of Finance and Economy: The death certificate of the second heir who is not living.

Regarding the deadline for completing the file, in addition to the 3-month deadline, the law also defines an additional 30-day deadline for completing the file. Under these conditions, the last date for the submission of documents is June 16. It is important to note that in order to benefit from the full payment, that is, to receive the full 4th installment of compensation, each of the beneficiaries whose name is on the list must submit the documents.

The process becomes even simpler if followed by a representative with power of attorney. But if this does not happen and the filling of the file becomes partial, then the payment is made only for the taxable part and moreover, to benefit, the heir will have to wait for the end of the 4-month period. It is precisely this one of the reasons, in addition to the insufficiency of the fund, that has slowed down the process for this category.

In total, there are about 20 thousand heirs in line to benefit from the 4th installment of the compensation, while the fund made available is worth 1 billion lek or about 10 million dollars.
