Albanian Business Fair in Austria

The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Austria, Fate Velaj, together with the Ambassador of Kosovo, Albinot Bimbashi, and the Member of the Austrian Parliament, Andreas Minnich, inaugurated today the 5th edition of the Albanian Business Fair in Austria, organized by the Albanian Business Network in Austria, under the leadership of businessman Ylli Blakaj. Albanian companies from various European countries also participated in this edition.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Velaj focused on the importance of such organizations, which provide opportunities for Albanian businesses to promote their products, exchange best practices, and establish contacts with the German-speaking market.

He emphasized that the Albanian Embassy in Vienna focuses on promoting economic cooperation, encouraging Austrian businesses to visit Albania and vice versa, with the aim of better understanding the respective markets and creating new opportunities for partnerships.

In this context, Ambassador Velaj informed that, in talks with the Governors of the Landes and with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, he has proposed the creation of business delegations. He also announced that, soon, an economic delegation from the province of Upper Austria, headed by the Landeswirtschaftsrat, will visit Tirana. Likewise, work is being done to organize other groups in the future.

At the end of his speech, Ambassador Fate Velaj emphasized that the Albanian Embassy in Vienna is the big home of all Albanians and invited them to be committed to representing the Albanian community as worthily as possible in Austrian institutions, always having the support of the Embassy and the mother country.
