Jaka meeting with the delegation of the Bavarian Industry Association: Ready for

The President of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nikolin Jaka, hosted a delegation from the Association of Industry of Bavaria, headed by the President of the Association, Mr. Wolfram Hatz and the Executive Director, in a meeting on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Mr. Bertram Brossardt.

The focus of the meeting was on strengthening economic relations and increasing commercial exchanges. In order to serve the stated goals, opinions were discussed and exchanged about investment opportunities and the creation of a new model of communication and cooperation.

While expressing his gratitude for the role and contribution of the German government for the support in terms of economic cooperation, Mr. Jaka presented the most potential sectors for investment in our country.

"In terms of economic and interest, Albania has real potential to invest. For direct investments, the most interesting sectors are: renewable energy, tourism, marinas, agro-processing, smart business, real estate, construction as a whole, etc. Albania also has real opportunities for the mechanical industry. There are many companies that are working with large global companies. It has been 10 years since the Albanian government has focused a lot on professional education. The Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with a school in the Mirdita area, has a project with the German government, with the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts and Crafts. We managed to get the Dortmund Chamber to come and equip welders, hydraulics and mechanics with certificates and German standards", declared Mr. Jaka.

At the beginning of his speech, the Executive Director of the Industry Association of Bavaria, Mr. Bertram Brossardt, praised the head of the DHTIT for the promotion he gives to Albania. He spoke about the areas where opportunities for cooperation may arise and requested that these visits be followed by long-term and beneficial cooperation.

"We will open an office in Tirana. We want a long-term cooperation with mutual benefits. We have two main reasons why we are here. The first was a wish of the Prime Minister of the Federal Land of Bavaria. Second, we want to show an example in Albania of how we can cooperate. We will also do a promotion in Bavaria for Albania. We will look to bring enough companies here. We are always open to new projects. Regarding the sectors you mentioned, except for the port, we have competences in all areas. Therefore, we are optimistic about the realization of good cooperation", said Mr. Brossardt, who also extended an invitation to participate in the Munich fair.

Responding positively to the invitation, Mr. Jaka assured the German representatives that Albania currently has a mature and capable enterprise not only for local partners, but also for collaborators in financing.

This is the second visit that representatives of the Bavarian association have made to the premises of DHTIT-Tirana within a short time, almost a month. For this, Mr. Jaka expressed optimism that: "The opening of the representative office in Albania and the second visit prove that the intention to deepen cooperation is serious."

This meeting was finalized with the confirmation of the commitment that both parties will undertake in the continuation of cooperation, with the aim of mutual exchange of information, joint projects, as well as the organization and participation in fairs and exhibitions.

Part of the delegation were Mr. Wolfram Hatz, President of the Association, Mr. Bertram Brossardt, executive director of the Association, Mrs. Drita Schneider, manager of Schneider Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Mr. Milazim Sadriaj, lawyer, Mrs. Renate Spandel and Mr. Volker Leinweber, representative of the Bavarian Industry Association.
