What employees are most wanted in Albania?

As the summer tourist season is approaching, accommodation structures as well as tourist entities are preparing for the infrastructure in the service sector.

The Albanian government has lobbied to attract as many foreign tourists as possible, to reach the figure of 15 million tourists to visit Albania, but on the other hand, the accommodation structures seem not to be strong in terms of service structures.

According to publications in the National Employment and Skills Agency, in the last two weeks, coastal cities have increased the demand for service staff, led by waiters.

According to the ranking in the National Employment and Skills Agency, cities such as Durrës, Vlora and Saranda have the most listings reaching 30 job offers in the position of waiter in bars and restaurants.

Despite the fact that it may be one of the jobs that is very little preferred by young people, the lack of employees has resulted in salaries reaching up to a million ALL.

Seasonal work in Albania is mainly required in the service sector, in bars and restaurants, but despite the fact that foreign workers were hired in this sector last season, the results were not the same as they did not offer the right standard for vacationers.
