Despite the decision of the Administrative Court of Appeal, which a day earlier temporarily overturned the decision of the Chamber of Advocates to boycott the first instance hearings at the GJKKO, the lawyers have not appeared in court again, awaiting a decision from the National Chamber of Advocates.
The lack of lawyers was also noted in the court session against former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, who is being tried for the Sterilization case.
The only person present at the hearing was Beqaj himself. He stated that he had communicated with his lawyers, who had informed him that they were awaiting the decision of the National Chamber of Advocates on the position they would take.
The court considered the absence of lawyers illegal, but decided to postpone the hearing to November 10, at 11:30.
