Idealists of the craft sold – A question for journalists of all ages
Who are the most idealistic of the profession, the poor journalists before the 90s, who, like all people, stood in torturous queues for a bottle of milk, for the toll of the ration of meat, eggs, butter, coffee, kerosene, etc. …
Or some instant-millionaire journalists after the 90's, who "found the poor for lunch, found the millionaires for dinner", and became instruments of government abuse, official corruption and organized crime and give you a sense for the night from their mediocre minds on screens and media for democracy and palace revolutions, inflated by villas, mansions and million euro bank accounts, with which they were rewarded by governments for their criminal services?
Therefore, millionaire journalists, surprising owners of villas and palaces, are on the screens as disgusting as corrupt governors and as wild as criminals.
The fourth power does not exist in Albania, because it has merged with the autocratic power of governments and crime.
I have a proposal for the "Audiovisual Media Authority": To compel all TV stations in Tirana to place banners in large letters on the stage of every panel or political show with the epitaphs of the famous Italian journalist, Indro Montanelli, for the journalists of had:
"If you meet a rich journalist, don't believe him. A rich journalist is a journalist who stinks".
