The overflow of our desires for self-expression sometimes leads to stagnant streams of creativity, making them similar to each other, without allowing for difference. Despite not reaching the status of a literary work, every created fable can be considered a cultural act.

Even more so if this act produces a debate, as well as a scandal or an unpleasant event that breaks the rules of morality of the time we live in. In a hundred years, any such reaction will be considered another folly.

It doesn't matter the content. The importance is that the work is read or the cultural act tends to be debated in various ways.

Po si lind skandali?

Of course, it is caused by the unsaid, the hindered, the secret in time and in every place. Writers are not historians. But research has made them aware of the insidious behavior of history, which tends to hide a part of itself, when the reader acts satisfied with what he knows or how much the story reveals itself to him.

So time always brings critical minds. They are the ones who make the difference. In the knowledge of reality and the world to reach the truth. And not only.

This is one of several reasons why I like to return to Albanian literature of the 30s and 40s. A literature of various tendencies and trends; individualistic or socially engaged, pessimistic or optimistic, conservative or revolutionary, closed, eternally incomprehensible or even open to man, which, in its own state, was the product of a long historical development.

Every time I read parts of it, I am convinced that in order to satisfy their personal preferences, every creator of that time could have studied many literary genres until he achieved his accomplishment.

Completion.. it would still be soon. Albania could not bear such.

The order behind their creative spirit would be subject, as it is today, to the changes of the reader's tastes, which, with the increase of the cultural level, would come by making the relations with literature more subtle.

The reader's taste would no longer be measured only by the experience of the beauty found in patriotic pathos and historical myths, which could confuse the youth who were being educated in Western universities. Something else the creators had to mess up; the Albanian spiritual constitution, which in its most cultivated layers, was waiting for a new literature.

Aren't these demanding qualities, still open, even for today's Albanian literature?

How many half truths do we know about her?

What is left of her pledge?

What is the test of time? That spark of light the reader is looking for?

It is never a race against time to mythologize heroes or codify truth and at the same time treat them with dignity.

Every time an author comes who dedicates his life to this kind of art, this kind of literature, it is the merit of the time and the luck of the country that enjoys it.

Therefore, it is one more reason to be amazed by his artistic "proficiencies".
