At the joint conference held with the President of the European Council, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the project planned to be implemented in the Zvërnec area will be developed in accordance with European Union standards.

Rama:  How can we do a project that is a project with a natural landscape and not respect EU standards? This has one possibility: that we close the process with the EU, say thank you, we will go with China and we will not deal with these "tic-mice". We do not have this alternative, I have said and I repeat for all those who think so. That old Europe is the only one we need. To become part of this family, we must behave correctly according to the standards, not for them, but for us.

The President has been Portugal's most successful prime minister for individual freedom and business. He is a man who can show you examples of how all those tensions or pains that the process of joining the EU to reform itself created turned into goodness and success for that people. We also celebrate Ramadan here, we have that call everywhere: after pain comes relief. There is no such thing as pain-free. The project will not only be in line with EU standards, but my ambition, which I share with the co-investors who are now also co-owners, is to make a project that is a model.
Companies have not gathered here to pour concrete and destroy biodiversity. The only thing they can do, and we have no way of avoiding this, is to destroy the nerves and the complete image of Sazan Guri and his friends, because they have no money for Sazan Guri.
