An apartment on the 8th floor of a building in the Pavarësia neighborhood, near the former Combine, was engulfed in flames at around 01:00 this morning in Vlora.

Firefighters arrived at the scene immediately and worked for several hours to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding apartments. The operation was difficult due to the height of the floor where the fire broke out.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, while the material damage to the apartment was considerable.

The causes of the fire have not yet been announced, while experts are expected to conduct the relevant verifications to determine the circumstances of the event.
