A fire broke out this evening near the Pashaliman area in Orikum.

Firefighters from Vlora immediately went to the scene, assisted by forces and vehicles from Himara.

At the moment there is no danger to homes, but the strong wind is helping to spread the flames that are burning bushes, brambles and wood, and is making the work of firefighters more difficult.

Forces on the ground are working to keep the fire under control, while the situation is being monitored.
