The police have discovered an environment adapted to the cultivation of narcotic plants using lamps in Vaun e Deja.

The police inform that the "grass house" was discovered in the village of Dush, in a building abandoned for years (public property).

During the inspection, 578 suspected cannabis sativa seedlings in cubes and pots were found inside this environment, as well as 103 electric lamps and other electrical equipment that served to carry out this criminal activity.

The electrician of the area was put in handcuffs and three members of the OSHEE working group covering the area were prosecuted.

In implementation of the orders sent by the General Director of the State Police for the intensification of controls in closed premises to prevent the cultivation of narcotic plants by means of lamps, the services of the Police Commissariat of Vau i Deja have intensified the controls in closed premises.

Based on the information provided by the police intelligence, that in the village of Dush, in a building abandoned for years (public property) it could have been adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, within the police operation coded "Godina", the Police services exercised control.

During the control in the abandoned building, one of the premises of this building was adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants by means of lamps, where 578 suspected cannabis sativa seedlings were found in cubes and pots, as well as 103 electric lamps and other electrical devices that served for the realization of this criminal activity.

Following the actions, the citizen FM, 62 years old, resident of Laç, the electrician of the area, was arrested in the act, and the citizens JD, 41 years old, resident of Fushë-Arrëz, IM, 32 years old, resident of Shkodër, were criminally prosecuted. and AB, 32 years old, resident of the village of Hajmel, (OSHEE working group covering the area) for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty". "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Theft of electricity".

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the investigative structures of the Vau i Deja Police Station and those of the Shkodër DVP continue the intensive work to identify and capture the perpetrators.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
