Two bars were discovered in Lushnje where online bets were placed, the owners

Checks within the "Rule of Law" mega-operation reveal 2 more bars where sports bets were placed with mobile phones.

The 2 owners of the bars and 2 citizens who were caught playing are being prosecuted.

4 mobile phones with active betting sites on them were seized.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Lushnja Police Station, from the continuous checks in various premises, carried out with the aim of cracking down on cases of illegal organization of gambling, have found that in 2 bars, in the neighborhoods "Kongresi" and " Loni Dhamo", sports bets were placed with mobile phones.

At the end of the procedural actions for these cases, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were started in free status for the 2 owners of the premises, citizens FT, 56 years old and R. Ç., 29 years old, as well as for 2 citizens who were caught betting on these premises, BB, 56 years old and MT, 65 years old, all four living in Lushnjë.

Also, the mobile phones of these citizens, who had active online sites for placing sports bets, were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
