The brothers Indri and Gentian Beqiraj have been operating as hitmen for two years in the area of ​​Durrës and Tirana, receiving several orders for the execution of at least four people. The first order was received in Tirana where, according to the police, Kassandre Noga had requested the murder of a person and his two grandchildren in the "Don Bosco" area of ​​the capital.

Due to the confusion of the target, they were not killed, but Erjon Çela was mistakenly executed, on January 4 of last year, exactly in the "Don Bosco" area.

The second murder, for which the Beqiraj brothers had received orders, had to do with the execution of Arben Merkur in Sukth. Merkuri was suspected by the police as a hit man and was killed five months ago in his business in the Sukthi area.

The police emphasize that there is still no information about the murder of Merkuri and it is not known whether the Beqiraj brothers or someone else executed him, however the latter had received 3,500 euros in advance and had rented a house near the place where Merkuri lived according to the Blues of Durrës . The police emphasize that the order to kill Merkur was given by Kevin Zeneli.

Among the 14 arrested of this group are a police officer and a soldier, who found the weapons and explosives.
