The US request for Ukraine is clarified: Stop the launch of the big offensive

Senior US officials are urging Ukraine not to launch a major offensive against Russian forces.

According to sources from foreign media , they believe that the offensive will be more successful after Ukraine has been supplied with weapons and the soldiers have received proper training from the US on the use of weapons.

A senior Biden administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said talks with Ukraine about a counteroffensive have concluded that the Ukrainians must first devote sufficient time to training on the latest US-supplied weaponry and then to launch the offensive.

Earlier this week, the US announced it would send hundreds of armored vehicles to Ukraine as part of a $2.5 billion arms package.

However, the US has signaled it will not send Abrams tanks to Ukraine, as US officials say they are expensive and difficult to maintain.
