The court of Lezha on Monday sentenced 17-year-old Florian Përvathi to 8 years in prison, who in January of this year killed his fellow villager Lek Lekgjonaj for blood feud.

The young man was found guilty of the criminal offenses "Murder for blood feud" and "Unauthorized possession of weapons and military ammunition".

Considered a minor, as he is under 18, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison, the maximum provided by the law for age. But due to the shortened trial, the sentence was reduced by 1/3 to 8 years.
