The police revealed the assassination attempt on Briken Sanaj on the night of October 30 at Kodra e Dielli, through footage from security cameras in the area, as well as documentation with other scientific evidence.

In the photo below is the exact moment when the security cameras captured 39-year-old Vladimir (Valmir) Kola, suspected of being the author of Sanaj's murder. Two days after the assassination, Kola left Albania and today the Tirana court issued an international arrest warrant

The murder is suspected to have happened due to blood feud as the Kola and Sanaj families were in conflict for over 10 years due to the molestation of a girl.

In 2010, the conflict escalated and Briken Sanaj's younger brother injured one of the sons of the Kola family. An enmity started between the families that, despite efforts to reconcile, did not materialize. They made controlled movements, because of this conflict, and did not expose themselves in public.

Along with Vladimir (Valmir) Kola, two people from Peja of Kosovo were declared wanted: Kened Antoni, 49 years old, and Gjelosh Krasniqi, 25 years old.

Natën e 30 Tetorit, Sanaj ka qenë duke mbyllur makinën te garazhi i pallatit ku jetonte dhe është takuar me tre persona të njohur në trotuar.

39-vjeçari ishte fillimisht në Lezhë, në dasmën e kushëririt të tij. Kur ka mbaruar dasma, ata kanë sjellë nusen në Tiranë tek pallati ku jetonte prej më shumë se një viti. Kur ka zbritur nga makina ai është qëlluar për vdekje nga një distancë e afërt nga një makinë në lëvizje.

The perpetrators have managed to leave and their "Benz" type car was found burnt after the incident, in Qafë Kashar, while a Kalashnikov was found inside it. According to information, the car had stolen license plates just a few days before the event in Tirana.
