The Supreme Court rejected the appeal of Nevaldo Hajdaraj, who requested the annulment of the decision issued by the Appeal with General Jurisdiction on March 16, 2022, for his sentence to 18 years in prison for the murder of Klodian Rasha, an event recorded in December 2020 in Tirana.
The decision was issued this Thursday by the third-instance criminal panel of the court, composed of Ilir Panda, Albana Boksi and Medi Bici.
The appeal sentenced Hajdaraj to 18 years in prison, a sentence which was reduced to 12 years in prison due to the summary trial. The second-instance decision of the judge was also appealed to the High Court by the Tirana prosecution, which requested that the former police officer be sentenced to 20 years in prison and that the summary trial be rejected.
