New details have come to light regarding the murder of businessman Eduart Reçi, by police officer Shkëlqim Duka and his brother, Florjani.

It is learned that the perpetrators followed Reci for 5 days, before assassinating him.

After the crime, they left without a trace using a tunnel near the emergency stairs of the hotel from where they fired a gun.

Sources also say that in the first attempt, they had failed to kill him. Then they tried again by shooting him in the head.

Eduart Reçi was shot in the head in the courtyard of his palace, on the evening of November 13.

Shkëlqim Duka, OPGJ officer at the police station no. 2 in Tirana, and his brother, Florjan Duka, were arrested as suspected perpetrators of the crime, while after the event it is learned that the conflicts for a property where the businessman wanted to build a palace.

"From the investigative actions carried out, it has emerged that the citizen  Eduart Reçi was committed to building a building, the construction of which required cooperation and agreement with other persons (bordering the victim's property). The brothers  Shkëlqim and Florjan Duka are among the people with whom the ER citizen discussed this issue and had a conflict over the ownership of the land, "  the police announced.

However, it is learned that this was not the first attempt by the OPGJ officer to execute the construction businessman.

According to the sources, the officer Shkëlqim Duka, who is known as a good shooter in the ranks of the blue uniforms, tried to execute Eduart Reçi on November 8 as well. The 48-year-old officer reportedly shot at the businessman, but the bullet did not hit the target.

It is learned that the OPGJ officer in the police station no. 2, Shkëlqim Duka, guarded the construction businessman for 5 days in a row to eliminate him. This detail, according to sources from the investigative group, was noticed after reviewing the film footage near the place where the murder of Eduart Reçi took place.

From the analysis of the footage, it was found that the suspected author Shkëlqim Duka was waiting for Eduart Reçi for 5 days, namely from November 8 to November 13, except for the 11th because he was at work on duty.

The police officer waited for Eduart Reçi from 19:00 to 23:00 until the evening of November 13, where at 22:40 he shot him in the head, taking his life.

In the video, the police officer was seen positioned on a metal staircase of a hotel adjacent to his bar where there was a visual view of the courtyard of Eduart Reçi's palace.

From the images of the security cameras, the police have seen a person who is positioned in a shooting position with a weapon, apparently with binoculars.

After the arrest of him and his brother, Florjan Duka, the police searched their apartments and bar, where they found evidence implicating them, but still have not found the crime weapon.

"Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes Against Life, based on the evidence gathered from the intensive investigation, arrested the citizens of Sh. D., 48 years old, (police officer) and FD, 45 years old, (brothers), both residents of Tirana, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder" committed in cooperation and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition," the police announced.

During the checks carried out on November 23 in the premises of the bar and the apartment of the 2 brothers and in the warehouse of the bar, a partially damaged firearm, six cylindrical objects similar to silencers of different sizes were found and seized as material evidence. , various parts and mechanisms used for silencers, two bulletproof vests and various electronic devices that document the activity and dynamics of the suspected perpetrators of this event.
