Prostitution continues to flourish in Tirana/ 2 Vietnamese women arrested,

Tirana Police have finalized the operation codenamed "Illegal chat", discovering a rented apartment that was suspected of being used for prostitution.

Two Vietnamese citizens who were communicating with various clients through social networks have been arrested.

During the operation, citizens Th. A., 51 years old, and Th. P., 33 years old, were arrested. According to preliminary investigations, they practiced prostitution in a rented apartment on “Naim Frashëri” street, while contacts and agreements for carrying out this activity were allegedly made through social networks.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, actions continue to identify and bring to criminal responsibility other citizens who may be involved in this illegal activity.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
