Two drug traffickers were arrested red-handed by the police in Velipoja while they were taking care of cannabis greenhouses. As part of the "Baks 1" operation, citizens Oraldo Jaku , 33 years old, and Luigj Shejna , 28 years old, both residents of Baks village, Velipojë, were arrested .

They were caught tending to 6 minisera where 270 cannabis sativa plants were cultivated.

"These citizens were caught red-handed by the Police services by discovering the miniseries, which they covered with plasma during the night. The investigative team seized as material evidence a quantity of narcotic plants and other evidence that will serve the investigation, while the rest of the plants were destroyed by burning." it is stated in the Police announcement.

Earlier, as part of the police operation coded "Baks 1", a 19-year-old man was arrested and 2 firearms (1 pistol and 1 Kalashnikov) and military ammunition were seized.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution for further actions.
